I found these two paintings in my archive and thought they have a bit of merit. One is a wild perspective of the Willamette river which runs through town and the other is by a foot path. Enjoy your day!!!

I am walking through the woods near a friends house in Seattle, Washington. My "Haven Woods" series is inspired by the landscapes found in the Pacific Northwest. There is no shortage of inspiration even within the city of Seattle itself. Enjoy life to the best of your ability. Peace!!

Here is a Finch that just finished eating seeds that I spread on the ground. In "Haven Woods" there are plenty of seeds to feed the birds and I will have many birds in my forest.....I turned the photo to Black and White and painted in the colors. I created a bit of fantasy in that the bird is not yellow, but I don't think the Finch minded too much as long as there is food.....Peace out!!!!

This is a Varied Thrush that was attracted by our feeder. A sweet looking bird that is not common in our yard, but enjoyed when it does arrive. It will be part of our growing "Haven Woods" family. Enjoy, thrive and eat healthy!!!

As I fill up my forest of "Haven Woods" I keep thinking of who else would like to live there. I had this beautiful Dragonfly land on a stick in our backyard and I said, "Would you like to live in my forest?", and the answer was yes. Enjoy your day and live in the moment!!

We love the Doves that visit our yard and I am happy to place one in my "Haven Woods" world. I hope you enjoy the images and the birds. See you tomorrow.

Here is the newest  member of the "Haven Woods" family. This beautiful Scrub Jay was taking a bath outside in our herb garden. Simply enjoying its day and looking inquisitively at the surroundings. I shall also try to be inquisitive today!!

Hello and greetings to all. My new thematic photographs are part of a new series that I'm adapting to be part of my series called "Haven Woods" . I am slowly creating a more intimate look at the wildlife that I imagine would like to live within the boundaries of my fantastical forest. As I slowly invent and share my new friends I hope that you will enjoy them as much as I do. Enjoy your day and be safe.
