A slow turn of the head. A smile given freely. I hope everyone has a peaceful and loving day.

I would like to share one more painting that sits above the fireplace. The wood fired insert keeps us warm on those cold winter days and the painting keeps me warm in remembrance of that glorious sunny summer day when it was painted.

A few of my paintings hanging on the walls in the house and studio. I have memories,  happy memories of the places where I set up my easel, felt the sun on my shoulders and enjoyed life.

 Americana #12
The American child at play. Who has not seen the playfulness of a spirited child with colored chalk in their hands. Children unhindered and sharing the sidewalk space with each other. It brings memories of my childhood. I understand their art!

Cars, cars and more cars. We need them, for now, can't live without them. This is a street I cross often and I always push the "walk" button. Better safe than sorry!

When stuck indoors month after month we all want to be on a stage. Laughing, telling jokes, making stories and just sharing our lives. Hello to all and I hope we all can stand on a stage soon and smile out to the world.

Drawn to the light of a distant cosmic event. Quiet to our ears, but bright to our eyes. The events of yesteryear make their way to our present time frame after millions or billions of years traveling across the Universe.

A breath of fresh air. A breeze. A view of the horizon and a sense of openness that comes with a visit to the sea shore. I would like this vignette to have a calming affect for the viewer. It did for me as I was creating!

Find a place to inhale the air, see nature in the raw, feel nature on your face, your hands and in your heart. Moments taken to reflect and appreciate life are precious.

Somewhere in the far distant past our Paleolithic artist friend created this wonderful rendering of his cat. Yes, if you are wondering, people loved cats  then as they do now.

I enjoy when a bird flies over my head and I know they are looking down at me as I am looking at them. I delight in the primal feeling of connection with nature if only for an instant. It puts a smile on my face and raises my spirits.

Quantum Physics once again. A never ending theme, but a topic of incredible importance. The Doppelgänger of science. A depth so deep that a coin dropped into a well will never hit the bottom.

Canadian Geese frequent our valley during the winter time. Some stay year round. They fly in large flocks Honking to each other. A wonderful sight and sound to the unexpected viewer on the ground. I always stop and watch their progress across the sky.

In Quantum Physics we can have identical energy pulses distanced apart yet connect as one. Kind of like a magic trick, except this one is real. Enjoy life!
